Premiere: !nertia - El Respiro De La Tierra

After two successful releases Aleja Sanchez is back with another VA compilation from the ‘’Raices’’ series on her Northallsen Records imprint.

Featuring tracks by !nertia, Psyk, Iori and Laertes, the upcoming EP is a storm of emotions and deep sound explorations, rooted in deep meaning and symbolism. This time, ‘’Raices’’ is involving the intention to create awareness of our physical environment and the ability to stay connected to it while also recognizing our inner strength and capacity.

Tree roots are a symbol of being grounded, as they are an outward manifestation of inner strength. By learning from trees about how to remain grounded during hard times, we can better access our own inner nourishment so that we may reach new heights spiritually, emotionally, and physically. Raices serves as a reminder for us to stay rooted in order to remain balanced and grow–even in the face of difficult times or obstacles.

I am delighted to present the opening track of this release by !nertia, a Barcelona-based composer and performer known for pushing the boundaries of sonic arts. His unique approach involves an instinctive blend of field recordings, elements from natural sounds, and live electronics, resulting in a captivating journey that seamlessly merges the electronic and natural worlds.

His live electronic performances have different shapes like podium performance, art exhibitions and sound installations. Among !nertia’s collaborators are graphic designers, fine artists, musicians, composers.
